Jessica Chastain added a little sparkle to the red carpet at the American Cinematheque Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday, where the Oscar-winning actress was honored for her illustrious career in the film industry.
Chastain opted for a black high-neck Gucci dress with crystal embellishments designed by the label’s new creative director, Sabato de Sarno. She accessorized with diamond jewelry from Damiani, including ear cuffs and a wrap bracelet.

The Mothers’ Instinct star was styled by Elizabeth Stewart, who also counts Cate Blanchett and Amanda Seyfried as clients.
Makeup artist Hung Vanngo gave Chastain a ’60s-inspired look consisting of a cut crease, sweeping eyeliner, and rosy blush, while hairstylist Renato Campora styled her auburn hair in a retro half-updo.
“As I stand here tonight, I am aware of the state of the world, our country, our politics and the ongoing misogyny. So many women are still taught to find their worth in male-defined roles,” Chastain said in her speech. “I am so proud to be part of an industry that is truly evolving. Nowadays, movies show girls that they don’t need a prince to save them, they can save the day themselves.”
On Monday, Chastain also wore Gucci to the Gotham Awards in New York, which marked the start of awards season. She opted for a backless ribbed halter dress and paired it with sky-high metallic platform shoes.
Chastain has long been associated with the Italian fashion house, fronting campaigns for the brand’s 25H watch and its third Hortus Deliciarum jewelry collection in 2022.
